The Cobra Classic RS in tartan, the narrow-based competition variant of the Classic shell. Part number Cobra Classic RS-Tartan.

The RS shell is 725mm tall, 490mm wide, 340mm base, 760mm deep. Weight 8.7kg. The 340mm base is the defining dimension here: it is the narrowest base width in the Cobra range, and substantially less than the standard Classic at 480mm. A 340mm base sits very close to the 291mm spacing of the base mount bolt pattern, which means the RS fits between floor points that would not accommodate a wider seat base. It is aimed at cars where the floor pan, transmission tunnel, or sill geometry prevents a normally-proportioned seat base.

The Classic RSR (227289) is taller at 820mm with a 480mm base. The RS is the choice specifically where the 340mm base dimension solves a floor geometry problem that no other Classic shell will fit.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.
