The Cobra Roadster 7 Signature, a narrow fit bucket seat in an upgraded finish. Part number COBROAD7-SIG.

The narrow fit shell

750mm high, 460mm across the shoulders, 720mm front to back, on a 400mm base, at 7kg. Shaped to use the angle of the rear bulkhead so that the space it recovers goes into legroom.

The 400mm base is what gets this seat into a seven style cockpit. Standard sports seats have a base in the 500mm to 560mm range and foul the transmission tunnel or the sill top rails.

Signature is the finish

The shell and the fit are the standard Roadster 7. What the Signature adds is the trim treatment.

So choose the shell because it fits the car, and the Signature because you want the finish. On a kit car being built properly that is often exactly the right order to decide things in.

Hand trimmed in the UK, so the options are wide. Tell us your combination at checkout and we will confirm it before the seat is built.

Harness holes are an extra cost option and cannot be added after trimming.

What do I need to fit it to my car?
The car-specific frame for your vehicle, plus a sliding runner if you want fore-and-aft adjustment. Our guide on base mount versus side mount walks through the whole stack, and tell us your car and we will quote the full kit.

How do I know it will feel right, not just fit on paper?
Makers publish widths and weights, never feel, and two seats with identical numbers can feel nothing alike. We keep the ranges on display in the showroom, you are welcome to come and sit in them, and our head support measurements guide shows the kind of real-world data we collect.

Availability

Cobra seats are handcrafted in the UK

Each seat is built to the specification you choose, which is why the wait is what it is: on average around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the trim and options.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Made to your specification

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.

Working to a date, or not sure which trim to pick? Ring us before you order. Getting the specification right at the start is far easier than changing it later.

Due to the specialist nature of our services, we do ask that you please contact us in advance to book an appointment. We have multiple slots available each day including selected availability at the weekend.
