The Cobra Roadster 7, a narrow fit bucket seat for seven style cars. Part number COBROAD7.
Designed around the rear bulkhead
In a seven style car space is the constraint and the rear bulkhead is what you are fighting. This seat is shaped to use the angle of that bulkhead rather than sit square against it, and the room that recovers goes into legroom.
That is why a general purpose bucket rarely works in these cars. It is not simply that other seats are too wide; it is that a square back wastes space the bulkhead has already taken.
The 400mm base is the number that matters
750mm high, 460mm across the shoulders, 720mm front to back, on a 400mm base, at 7kg.
The base figure is the width down at floor level, between the sills and clear of the transmission tunnel. Standard sports seats have a base in the 500mm to 560mm range, which is why they foul the tunnel or the sill top rails in a seven and this one does not.
Measure your own car at floor level and compare it to 400mm. If it is close, send us the number and we will check it against a seat before you order.
Harness holes are an option
Not fitted as standard, available at extra cost, and they cannot be added once the seat is trimmed. Decide before you order rather than buying twice.
Road and Track approved rather than FIA homologated. Base mount. Seat only.
