The Speedster is a lower shell than the rest of the Nogaro range

700mm tall against 910mm for the Circuit, Street and Club Sport, so it loses 210mm of back height. Everything else is the same shell: 560mm wide, 490mm across the base, 710mm deep. It weighs 7.5kg rather than 7.9kg and is specified for drivers under 6ft where the others are cut for over.

So the Speedster is not a different seat so much as the same seat with the top of the back taken off. That is what makes it the answer where a 910mm shell would foul a low roofline or a roll hoop.

So this is not a trim of the same seat. It is the low backed member of the family, which changes who it suits. A low back earns its place in a car with a low roofline, an open car where a tall shell sits proud of the screen line, or for a driver who does not need the shoulder height.

What it cannot do is put harness slots up above a tall driver’s shoulder line, which is the argument for the full height Nogaro. If you are over 6ft and want that, this is the wrong shell however good the trim is.

Tartan

A genuine period trim, hand trimmed in the UK and let into the centre panel rather than printed. Tell us which tartan you want at checkout and we will confirm it before the seat is built.

Will I fit in this seat?
The maker sizes this seat for drivers over 6ft in height with a 28in to 32in or 32in to 36in waist. Those are the paper numbers; how a seat actually feels to sit in is a different question, and our showroom team sit in these seats every day, so call us and we will give you the honest answer.

Each seat is built to the specification you choose, which is why the wait is what it is: on average around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the trim and options.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Made to your specification

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.
