The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, built from 2007 to 2016, moved to the new CZ4A platform and the 4B11 turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, leaving behind the 4G63 that had carried the Evo name from the first generation. The change brought a wider, heavier car with a twin-clutch or five-speed manual gearbox and an updated S-AWC all-wheel-drive system. The Evo X is well established in UK circuit sprint, time attack and track day events.
These are the M2 Motorsport direct fit sub-frames for the Mitsubishi Evo X, part number M2-2H009-0000. The CZ4A chassis is different from the CT9A platform of the Evo VII, VIII and IX, and the seat rail is a separate M2 part number as a result. The frame replaces the factory runners and bolts to the OEM floor mounting points without drilling. Steel, powder-coated black, 290mm side mount holes. If you have an Evo VII, VIII or IX rather than an Evo X, those are different frames: Evo 7, Evo 8, Evo 9.
Seats with 290mm side mount holes fit directly: Recaro, OMP, Sparco, Bride, Cobra, Corbeau, Takata, MOMO and others. Under-seat mounted seats need the M2 adaption bars as well.
