The Honda CRZ is an unusual car in the motorsport context: a front-wheel-drive hybrid coupe that attracted a genuine club racing following. The ZF1 and ZF2 CRZ (2010 to 2016) combine a 1.5-litre VTEC engine with an electric motor for a total of around 135bhp, and despite the modest power figure the car’s light weight and front-wheel drive balance make it entertaining on track. It has found a home particularly in Hybrid-class club racing and in time attack categories that welcome it on power-to-weight grounds.

These are the M2 Motorsport direct fit sub-frames for the Honda CRZ, part number M2-2H017-0010. M2 Motorsport specifically list the CRZ coupe on their site, confirming the fitment. The frame replaces the factory runners and bolts to the OEM floor mounting points without drilling. Steel, powder-coated black, 290mm side mount holes. The CRZ’s hybrid components do not affect the front seat floor mounting, but the battery location in the rear changes the car’s weight distribution compared to a conventional layout.
