The GHR 4 Point Harness, part code HG012, is the entry-level four-point harness in the Luke range. It carries ECE R129/03 (i-size) approval alongside Road and Track approval, which means it meets European type approval for adult restraint use on the road. The GHR range is not HANS compatible, so these are not the right choice if your club’s regulations require a HANS or collar device at the shoulder straps.
Luke launched in 1975 as Corbeau’s motorsport division and makes harnesses in Sussex using straight-stitch construction throughout. Every GHR harness carries an in-house serial code for production traceability and uses the iconic red release handle that gives drivers and rescue crews instant recognition in an emergency.
The four-point layout gives a lap belt and two shoulder straps but no sub-strap between the legs. Competition regulations in some club classes now require a five or six-point layout specifically to prevent submarining, so check your series’ supplementary regulations before choosing the point count. For track days and road-legal kit-car use where no regulation applies, four points is a practical choice.
HG012 comes in ten colours: Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Maldives Blue, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red and Yellow. Where the colour matters for matching seats or a roll cage, the GHR range offers enough variety to fit most colour schemes. Choose on the variation above and the harness is assembled to order.
If you want to step up from the GHR in capability, the Professional 4 Point (HP011) adds strap width choice and slightly heavier construction for a moderate price increase. Choose your colour above. Less common shades are assembled to order and we will confirm the lead time.
