The Corbeau 3-Point Retractable Harness, part code HR001, is the retractable version of a road-and-track three-point harness. Corbeau is the parent company of Luke Racing and makes its own harness range alongside the Luke motorsport line. This harness retracts automatically when slack, behaving like a standard seatbelt inertia reel rather than a fixed harness.
That matters if the car doubles as a road car. A fixed harness needs to be manually tensioned and released each time you get in and out, which is inconvenient in daily use. The retractable reel means the shoulder straps pull back clear of the seat when you exit, and feed out smoothly as you buckle in. Road and Track approved.
HR001 is not HANS compatible and is not designed for competition use where FIA or HANS rules apply. It is a 3-point harness suitable for track days, spirited road driving and club events where the regulations permit a non-homologated restraint. Four colour options: Black, Blue, Purple and Red.
At £92.50 it sits above the Luke GHR 3 Point (HG005 at £85), with the premium covering the retractable mechanism. The mechanism makes it the better fit for a dual-use car. If the car is track-only and a fixed harness is fine, the GHR range costs less. If you want a Corbeau retractable with shoulder straps that disappear between sessions, HR001 is the choice.
