In an NA or NB this is usually the right answer rather than the cheaper one. PCI’s adjustable mount gives the lowest possible seat fitment in their range, and in a car with a low roof, a roll bar behind your head and a helmet to fit under all of it, sitting low is not a nice to have.
The trade
No slider. The seat is set at installation and stays there. For a single driver car that costs nothing, and these cars are usually single driver cars.
It is not fixed forever either. The hardware interlocks into the slots in the seat base, so the position can be changed later with one tool and without removing the mount from the car. If you buy a different seat in two years, you are not starting again.
If the car is shared, the sliding sub frame is the version to buy instead.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from one piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, five and six point sub belt mounting locations built in.
Ordering
Side mount, for a competition bucket. It bolts to the factory seat mounting points, so nothing is drilled and the standard seats come out whole. Handed, order twice for a pair.
