A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Lexus SC400. Part number SB160-5029.

SC400 or SC300, and it matters for the build

The SC400 has the 1UZ V8 and was automatic only. The SC300 has the 2JZ-GE and could be had with a manual, which is why the SC300 is the one people convert and the SC400 is the one people keep as a cruiser.

Both are the Toyota Soarer Z30 in Japan. If yours is an imported Soarer, send us the chassis number, because the Japanese cars had specifications never sold here including the turbocharged 2JZ-GTE.

Parts are the practical issue

Good SC and Soarer interior parts are getting genuinely hard to find. The bracket picks up the factory mounting points so the originals come out whole. Store them somewhere dry.

Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
