Cobra front door panel upholstery in leather and alcantara. Part number RS-FDP-L-A.
The combination that suits a door better than either alone
Leather around the edges and along the bottom, alcantara through the centre panel. On a door that division matches where the wear actually is.
The bottom edge takes shoes. The armrest area takes elbows. Both get leather, which survives them. The centre panel, which nothing touches, gets alcantara, where its lack of glare under the side glass is worth having and where nothing is scuffing the pile.
Specify all alcantara and the bottom edge marks within a season. Specify all leather and you get reflections off the door top on a sunny day. This is the answer to both.
Two materials to look after
The leather wants feeding twice a year, particularly along the top where the sun sits. The alcantara wants brushing rather than wiping. Different jobs, neither difficult.
Where it sits
Upper price tier on front panels, level with leather and with alcantara. The vinyl, vinyl and fabric and spacer fabric options are cheaper.
Matching rear panels, headrests, centre armrest and bench trim are available in the same materials. Made by Cobra in Berkshire.
