Our copy says it fits models up to 1996. The Rover 25 did not exist until 1999, when it replaced the 200. That note appears to have been carried across from our Rover 200 listing, which shares this base part number under HC846-2701 and genuinely does cover cars up to 1996.
So send us the registration before you order and we will confirm which of the two frames your car takes. We are correcting the listing.
What a Rover 25 actually is
A facelifted R3 Rover 200, itself developed from the Honda derived R8. The MG ZR is the same car with the MG treatment and takes its own listing.
Parts are the practical issue
MG Rover has been gone for two decades and nobody makes interior parts. The frame picks up the factory mounting points so the original seats come out whole. Store them somewhere dry.

Will this fit my car?

Which seats does it take?
It takes seats drilled 345mm x 271mm (the Sparco and OMP seat pattern) and 405mm x 290mm (the Recaro seat pattern). If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.
Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
