This Recaro sub-frame (part number 868616) fits the Ford Fiesta produced from May 2002 through to 2009. That covers the Mk5 generation, a platform that spawned the ST150 and the early ST with the 2.0 Duratec. The sub-frame bolts to the Fiesta’s OEM floor mounts with no modification to the car.

The Fiesta Mk5 had a fairly tight front footwell and a seat position optimised for comfort at the expense of lateral support. The OEM runners sit low, which means an aftermarket sport seat on a generic side mount often ends up at an awkward angle relative to the B-pillar belt anchor. The Recaro sub-frame accounts for the Mk5 floor geometry and keeps the seatbelt shoulder point in the correct relationship to the occupant.

Fore-aft adjustment is retained through the sub-frame’s integrated runners. Fits base-mountable Recaro seats only. Not compatible with side-mounted competition shells without adaption bars. One frame per listing, one seat position. Add to cart twice for both sides and note your Recaro seat model in the checkout comments.

Seat belt brackets are not required in a range of application so manufacturers generally do not supply them with their frame kits. If you require seat belt brackets please contact us in advance

Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Recaro frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.

Before you order

If you need a seat for a date, ring us first. We would rather give you an honest lead time up front than have you waiting on a seat that is between production runs.
