The Chrysler Voyager SE, sold between January 1996 and March 2001, is a large American-style people carrier from an era when seven-seat MPVs were a growing category in Europe. Its cabin is long and wide by the standards of its contemporaries, and the front seats in SE trim were comfortable for long motorway journeys but gave very limited lateral support. Owners who drove Voyagers on the Continent regularly, where the roads allowed a brisker pace than typical UK motorway conditions, noticed the shortcomings in the driver’s seat early.
