A 4-point harness with 3in shoulder and 3in lap straps, bolt-in end fittings and an aircraft-pattern alloy twist buckle, built specifically for Caterham Seven cars and the installation geometry that comes with them. The shorter strap lengths are the reason this harness exists as a separate product: Caterham cabin dimensions place the driver considerably closer to the mounting points than a standard saloon car, and a regular-length harness ends up with too much strap to run without folding or with the adjusters at their limit.

The alloy twist buckle is the aircraft-pattern release: lift and twist rather than push to open, which is mechanically different from the push-button cam-lock releases on the Sabelt Clubman saloon range. The aircraft buckle gives faster access in a cage environment when gloved hands and a helmet limit grip and visibility. This harness is not HANS-compatible: the geometry is set for open-face or full-face helmet use without a HANS device.
No SKU is held for this listing. This harness is also used in Westfield cars and other small-footprint kit cars with comparable mounting geometry, but it is designed and sold as a Caterham harness. FIA 8854-1998 is the current FIA standard for 4-point harnesses and is accepted in most UK club and championship regulations for saloon and kit car classes. If your class requires a 6-point harness, the Sabelt range carries 6-point FIA 8853-2016 options separately.
