The Luke GMax 4 Point Caterham Harness Belt, part code CGM4, is a four-point harness cut specifically for Caterham Seven chassis. The strap lengths are bespoke for the Caterham’s cockpit width and the position of the lap belt anchor points behind the seat. Bolt-on fixings all round: lap straps, shoulder straps and the sub-strap all bolt directly to the chassis, with no harness bar or ring eye needed.
50mm webbing throughout, which is the standard for the GMax range. The adjustment type is either Pull Down or Pull Up depending on the variation chosen above. Pull-up shoulder adjustment is the usual preference in an open cockpit car because it is quicker to get the strap tight from outside the car. Pull-down is less common in a Caterham but available if required.
Available in Black, Blue, Red, Silver and Purple webbing. Not ECC or FIA approved, but road legal and suitable for track days where FIA homologation is not a requirement. Luke has been making Caterham-specific harnesses since well before the current range existed. The GMax Caterham belt uses the same straight-stitch construction and the same in-house serial code as the competition-level harnesses.
