The Luke Caterham Pro 4 Point Harness in 75mm/75mm configuration uses 75mm webbing for both the lap strap and the shoulder straps. The Pro range adds a rotary-action release box over the GMax Caterham: a classic single-rotation buckle that opens faster than a squeeze-and-lift mechanism and is easier to operate from inside a Caterham’s narrow cockpit.
Caterham specific, with strap lengths bespoke for the Seven chassis and bolt-down fixings throughout. Road legal and MOT compliant. Not FIA homologated, not EEC approved. For track day use and road driving on a car that stays road registered, this covers the requirement without FIA weight or cost.
At £165 the 75mm Pro version costs £72.50 more than the GMax Caterham (CGM4 at £92.50). The price difference buys the wider webbing and the rotary release mechanism. Wider webbing means more load spread across the shoulder and hip in a heavy stop or during repeated harness tightening. The rotary release is faster to open in a hurry. If you run the car hard on track regularly, both differences are worth having.
