Nova is the UK market name for what the rest of Europe knew as the Corsa A, so the roll cages built for the Corsa A genuinely fit this car too. The fitting frame side is thinner: Corbeau are currently the only maker with a live subframe for this shell, and it only pairs with Corbeau seats.
If you want a different brand of seat, the honest answer is that no confirmed frame currently exists for it, so ask us before ordering rather than guessing.

The fitting frame
Corbeau confirm a direct fit subframe for the Corsa A, which covers the Nova, at £245. It only pairs with Corbeau seats, made to their own mounting specification. That is currently the only fitting frame confirmed for this car in the catalogue. If you want to run a different brand, ask us first, because there is no confirmed route for it yet.

These FIA seats are widely used on the Nova and Corsa A platform, though fitting them means confirming a mounting solution beyond the Corbeau frame, since none of them are Corbeau shells. The OMP ARS-R at £513.60 covers a 36in to 38in waist. The Mirco GT 3D Fabric at £324, the Sparco Evo QRT at £570.00 and the Sparco QRT-R at £652.80 sit further up. Reclining sport seats
The Corbeau Sportline RRS Limited Edition at £600.00 is the seat that fixes directly to the confirmed Corbeau frame with nothing else needed. The Sparco R333 and Sparco GT are alternatives that would need their own mounting solution confirmed.

Our recommendationThe Corbeau RRS is the seat with a confirmed route
With only one frame confirmed, and it being Corbeau-only, the Sportline RRS Limited Edition is the seat that goes on without a mounting question mark. Cameron works out the fit and the best combination for a given car, so if you want a different brand, tell him and he will look into whether a mounting solution can be confirmed.
Harnesses
There is no harness made specifically for the Nova, so you are fitting a universal belt and working out the mounting yourself. The standard rear seat belt mounts are not rated for harness shoulder strap loads, so one of the cages below, a bolt-in harness bar, or a fabricated anchor point is needed.
The Schroth Profi 3×2 at £370 and the TRS Magnum 6 Point Superlite at £245 are both FIA 8853-2016. The TRS Magnum 4 Point at £139 is FIA 8854-1998. All three carry a stamped expiry date regardless of wear. For a road or trackday car, the Takata Drift II and III and the TRS Clubman belts cost less, though none of those four are HANS compatible.

If competing, check the specification against your class regulations before ordering, and keep the sign-off paperwork with the logbook. Pad any tube within reach of a helmet, and tell your insurer, because a cage is a notifiable modification.

Which frame does the Nova need?
Currently only Corbeau confirm one, at £245, and it only pairs with Corbeau seats. No frame is confirmed for other brands.
Is the Nova the same as the Corsa A?
Yes. Nova is the UK market name for what continental Europe called the Corsa A. It is the same car, which is why the Corsa A cages genuinely fit it.
Can I fit a non-Corbeau FIA seat?
You can, but the mounting solution is not currently confirmed in the catalogue. Ask us and we will look into whether a fitting solution can be worked out for the seat you want.
