The Cobra Roadster 7 for the Westfield, a narrow fit bucket seat. Part number COBROAD7-WF.
Built for this shape of cockpit
Westfields share the seven layout and the same constraint: a narrow footwell, a bulkhead close behind, and no spare width anywhere. This shell is cut to use the bulkhead angle rather than fight it, which is where the legroom comes from.
The measurements
750mm high, 460mm across the shoulders, 720mm front to back, on a 400mm base, at 7kg.
The 400mm base is the figure that matters. That is the width down at floor level, between the sills and clear of the transmission tunnel, and it is what gets this seat into cars where a normal one will not go. Standard sports seats have a base in the 500mm to 560mm range and simply foul the tunnel or the sill top rails.
Measure your own car at floor level between the sill and the tunnel, and compare it to 400mm. If it is close, send us the figure and we will check it against a seat before you order.
That last point matters here
Two Westfields built to the same instructions are not always the same inside. Panel work, tunnel width and seat mounting points all move a little depending on who built the car and when.
So do not assume the figures from a friend’s car apply to yours. Measure yours, send us the numbers, and we will tell you honestly whether it goes in.
Harness holes at extra cost, not addable after trimming. Road and Track approved rather than FIA homologated. Base mount. Seat only.
