The TLPK1 is Tillett’s low profile fitting kit, for cars where the gap between seat and roofline is restricted and a standard mounting height will not work. Part number TLPK1.

A standard seat installation on a Tillett fitting frame and side mounts raises the seat by a fixed amount above the floor. In some cars, particularly lower GT and sports cars, that stack height puts the driver’s head too close to the roof panel or above the roll hoop. The TLPK1 provides a lower mounting path that reduces the overall height of the installation.

This is an accessory rather than a complete mounting solution. It works alongside a standard Tillett fitting frame and bracket set, not as a standalone mount. At £63.38, it is the appropriate solution when headroom is the only problem with an otherwise correct installation.

Tillett publish limited detail on the TLPK1 beyond the part number and its purpose. If you have a specific question about compatibility with your seat model or fitting frame before ordering, ask us. These carbon seats are handcrafted in the UK for each order. We do not stock or display them in the showroom, so everything is a special order placed with Tillett when you buy.

Lead times depend on the model and the options you choose, so ring us before ordering if you are working to a date.

Because each seat is made for you, our special order terms apply once production has begun.

Tell us your height, weight and the car, and we will confirm the right size and mounting before anything is made. Tillett sizing is specific and worth getting right first time.

Due to the specialist nature of our services, we do ask that you please contact us in advance to book an appointment. We have multiple slots available each day including selected availability at the weekend.
