The TB4 is the extra tall version of the standard Tillett aluminium side mount. Where the regular bracket sets the seat at the conventional side-mount height, the TB4 adds more rise, which helps on cars where the tunnel height or floor geometry puts the driver too low in the standard position.
Part number TB4. Black aluminium construction. Listed compatible seats are the Tillett B1 Carbon, B2 and B4. Check the bolt pattern on your shell before ordering, as the hole spacing varies across the Tillett range. If you are unsure, send us the seat model and we will confirm before you buy.
Side mounting positions the seat lower and further outboard than a base mount does, and gives some control over seat angle through the bolt hole positions on the bracket. The TB4 adds height on top of that, which is useful in cars where a standard side-mount height leaves the driver too low relative to the scuttle or steering wheel.

Will this fit my seat and car?

Do I still need a sliding runner?
Only if you want fore-and-aft adjustment: the runner sits between this hardware and the seat or floor depending on the stack. Our sliding runner guide explains the options and widths.
Tillett seats are custom-made to order
These carbon seats are handcrafted in the UK for each order. We do not stock or display them in the showroom, so everything is a special order placed with Tillett when you buy.
Lead times depend on the model and the options you choose, so ring us before ordering if you are working to a date.
