Backrest and base each in two sections. Order it only if that is what the car has, because a split base trim will not fit a solid bench and the two are not interchangeable.
This configuration costs a little more than the others. The split backrest is free; the split base is what you are paying for.
Where the two materials go
Vinyl around the edges and bolsters, fabric through the centre panels. On a fully split bench there are more edges than on any other configuration, because each section has its own perimeter.
That is an argument for this combination rather than against it. Every one of those edges is a wear point, and the vinyl is on all of them.
Before you order
Look at the car. Split rear seats were optional on a great many models, and a bench may have been changed at some point in the car’s life.
If yours turns out to be a split back on a whole base, the 2 piece back version is the one you want and it costs less.
