The Sparco sub-frame for the Vauxhall Astra Mk5 3-Door (part 00499024) fits 3-door Astra Mk5 models from 2004 to 2010. These frames are the direct-fit option for the most common Astra track car configuration, where the 3-door bodyshell is the preferred base for circuit use.

An important point: these frames are listed specifically for the 3-door variant. If you are fitting to a 5-door Astra Mk5, check that the floor mounting positions match before ordering, as door configuration affects the sill and floor geometry on this generation.

The frames provide the 345mm x 271mm bolt pattern that fits Sparco, OMP, and Corbeau base mount seats. They are handed, so specify driver or passenger side when ordering. If you are fitting sport seats on both sides, you need two separate frame orders. Sparco’s sliding runner kit is required for fore-aft seat adjustment.

At £92.50, the Astra Mk5 3-door frame is the most expensive sub-frame on this page. Verify the handed side before ordering, as driver and passenger frames ship as separate parts and the position is fixed without the runner kit. The Astra Mk5 3-door is a well-established circuit build and these frames are a known-good fitment across that platform.

What will be in the box? There are several types of seat frames which may be supplied depending on the vehicle and application. You may receive 1 of the following 4 types. If you are using them with a certain seat, please contact us in advance for professional advice.

Additional seat belt brackets: Each seat frame can be used for a variety of applications including road car reclining seats throuh to Motorsport FIA seats. Seat belt brackets are not required in a range of application so manufacturers generally do not supply them with their frame kits. If you require seat belt brackets please contact us in advance

Bolt point tolerances:

Please note that OMP, Sparco and various other brands have a +/- 10mm tolerance on the bolt point locations on each of their sub-frames. This means that when installing the equipment into your vehicle, you may find that one or more of the bolt points may need extending for a perfect fit.

This is normal and, when installed by a skilled professional, it may only add five minutes to the total installation time. A prime example is the OMP Renault Clio MK3 frames and the BMW E46 frames as two bolt points need extending by 5mm in 75% of installations.

Drilling of frames and equipment may be required to complete your installation.

Matching seats and frames:

There are over half a dozen different bolt patterns in the industry for base mounted seats. There are over 30 different bolt patterns for side mounted seats. Aftermarket frames from different brands will have different bolt location points.

Seats and frames are not a direct fit between brands. Seat frames are also not suitabled for OEM seats (Fitted into a vehicle from the factory) Please ensure to contact us for professional advice before purchasing your seat frames. We will be able to provide you a recommendation as to which seat frame is right for which seat.

Will I fit in this seat?

What do I need to fit it to my car?

How do I know it will feel right, not just fit on paper?
Makers publish widths and weights, never feel, and two seats with identical numbers can feel nothing alike. We keep the ranges on display in the showroom, you are welcome to come and sit in them, and our head support measurements guide shows the kind of real-world data we collect.
