Keep the originals
On a 911 the seats are worth money and worth keeping. A direct fit frame is reversible: the factory seats and their runners come out whole, go into storage, and go back in when the car changes hands. Fabricating brackets and putting holes in the floor is permanent, and on this car that is a real cost at sale time.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
