The Sparco sub-frame for the Peugeot 206 (part 00499058) fits 206 models from September 1998 onwards. These frames replace the standard seat runners and provide the 345mm x 271mm base mount bolt pattern used by Sparco, OMP, and Corbeau base mount seats.
The 206 frames are handed. Specify driver side or passenger side when ordering. If you are fitting sport seats on both sides, you need two separate frame orders. Sparco’s sliding runner kit is recommended for fore-aft seat adjustment.
Construction is steel. Sold individually.
The 206 range spans a long production run from the base models through to the GTi 180, and the floor mounting positions are broadly consistent across the range. If your 206 has a roll cage, floor reinforcement plate, or any prior modification in the seat area, verify the mounting points before ordering to confirm the sub-frame will align correctly.
At £85.50, the 206 frame is in the upper half of the price range for Sparco’s car-specific fitting hardware. The handed construction adds cost over a universally-sided frame. If both positions need fitting, factor two frames and the correct sided specification into the total before ordering.
Have you written anything useful for my car?
Yes: Customer Question: What Are the Top 3 Reclining Sport Seats for My Peugeot 206?, and Customer Car: Upgrading Your Peugeot 206 With Sparco R100 Seats Has Never Been Easier.. Those are written around the same car, from real fittings and customer questions, so they are worth a look before you decide.
Will this fit my car?
This frame is made for the Peugeot 206. Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.
Which seats does it take?
It takes seats drilled 345mm x 271mm (the Sparco and OMP seat pattern). The Compatible seats tab above lists what bolts straight on. If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.
Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Sparco frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
This is a base-mount frame: the seat bolts down through its base, the simpler stack that suits seats with a flat bottom and keeps the install low-fuss. Our guide on base mount versus side mount explains the whole fitting stack.
Is this for the driver or passenger side?
Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
