This is the EP3 Type R, and it is one of the most commonly seated cars we deal with. The reason is the standard driving position: Honda put the driver high in that car, and the single most effective change you can make to how it feels is getting the seat down. A direct fit frame is what turns that into a bolt in job.
Fitment
Steel, on the 345mm by 271mm base mount pattern, on the car’s own floor mounting points. Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats all share that spacing, whatever older copy on this range claimed.
Side mount competition shells need side mounts or adaption bars over the frame. On an EP3 that is the common route, because most people fitting a seat are going to a fixed back.
Ordering
One frame per seat, handed. Choose RHD driver or RHD passenger and order twice for both sides.
Tell us the seat when you order. If harnesses are going in as well, do the seat first and the anchor points second, because seat height decides where the shoulder straps can run.

Will this fit my car?
This frame is made for the Honda Civic Type R ('01 - '05). Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
