The QRT Performance is a premium fibreglass competition seat from Sparco’s FIA range, at the upper end of fibreglass seat pricing. Trim is vinyl and suede with black stitching throughout. FIA 8855-1999 homologated. Six-point harness compatible. Suitable for all driver heights, 32-36 inch waist.
Suede trim gives better grip against FIA fire-resistant race suits than smooth vinyl alone. Drivers who spend long stints in the seat often find the combined vinyl-and-suede finish grips better in the shoulder bolsters while remaining easier to clean across the rest of the shell.
One thing to check before ordering: the HANS compatibility attribute on this product shows not compatible. That is unusual for an FIA 8855-1999 seat and may be an attribute error rather than a genuine product limitation. If HANS use is a requirement for your series, confirm with us before ordering. We will contact Sparco and verify.
Mounting is side-mount only. FIA side mounts and a vehicle-specific fitting frame are needed in addition to the seat.
At this price the QRT Performance sits above the fibreglass Evo QRT range but below the full-carbon Ultra. Whether the trim and finish difference justifies the gap over an Evo QRT is worth a call before committing. We can talk you through what each actually gives.

What do I need to fit it to my car?
This is a side-mount seat: it hangs between side brackets, the motorsport-style stack with fine height and angle control. You will need the car-specific frame, and a sliding runner if you want fore-and-aft adjustment. Does it work with harnesses and a HANS device?
The shell takes 6 point compatible. This shell is not shaped for HANS use, so if you run a head and neck device, look at the HANS-friendly seats in the range instead. If you are planning the full seat, harness, and HANS setup, tell us the car and we will spec it end to end.
How do I know it will feel right, not just fit on paper?
Fair question, because makers publish widths and weights, never feel, and two seats with identical numbers can feel nothing alike in the car.
