Competition seat padding is a consumable. It compresses, it absorbs sweat over seasons, and on a seat that gets shared between drivers it wears out long before the shell does. This kit puts fresh padding into an Ultra without you having to replace a perfectly sound seat.
The two choices
First, how much of it you want. The base and headrest pads on their own will do if the side and back padding is still sound, which is usually the case, because the base and the head area take the wear. The complete kit replaces the lot and is the one to order if the seat has done several seasons or has come to you second hand.
Second, the material. Standard is the usual fabric. Alcantara costs more and grips more, which matters in a seat that is being used properly, and it feels considerably better against a suit. On a seat you are in for endurance stints the Alcantara is worth the difference.
Which seat it fits
The Sparco Ultra, in either the carbon or the fibreglass shell. Pick your shell at the top of the page, because the padding is cut to the shell and the two are not interchangeable.
If you are not sure which Ultra you have, send us a photograph of the back of the seat and the label. Carbon and fibreglass are easy to tell apart once you know what you are looking at, and getting it wrong means padding that will not sit properly.
