This is a repair part and it exists because the lever is the thing that goes. The R333 uses a double adjustment lever with a rapid tilt, which gets pulled hard and often, particularly in a three door car where the seat is tipped every time someone gets in the back. The plastic handle and its housing take that load and eventually crack or snap off, and until now that meant a seat that still worked perfectly being replaced over a two pound moulding.
What you get
The kit covers the handles and the housings in black. It fits the R333 reclining sport seat. It will not fit the R100 or the other Sparco recliners, because the lever assembly differs between them, so check the seat you have before you order.
Fitting is straightforward and does not need the seat out of the car in most cases. The mechanism itself is untouched. You are replacing what your hand grips and the trim piece around it.
Worth knowing
If the lever moves but the backrest does not lock, that is not this part and a new handle will not fix it. Tell us what the seat is actually doing and we will work out whether you need the handle kit or something further into the mechanism.
If you are running R333 seats hard, a spare kit on the shelf is cheap insurance against a seat being out of action on an event weekend.
