The SEAT Arosa is a three-door city car built from 1997 to 2004 on the PQ24 platform it shared with the Volkswagen Lupo. It is a compact machine with a short wheelbase and a cabin that leaves little room for a poorly positioned seat, so getting the sub-frame geometry right matters more here than in a larger car.
Part number 863117 is the Recaro direct-fit sub-frame for the Arosa. It attaches to the existing floor fixing points on either the driver or passenger side without any drilling or fabrication, and it carries integrated fore-aft runners so the Recaro seat retains its full sliding travel. Recaro produced this specifically for the Arosa, using the factory mounting positions to replicate the correct seat height and angle.
The Arosa was available with a range of small-capacity petrol engines, including a 1.0 three-cylinder, and even the sporting Arosa KL by ABT kept a compact layout. Whatever the variant, the PQ24 floor profile is consistent, so 863117 covers all standard Arosa models rather than a specific engine or trim level.
This sub-frame fits Recaro brand seats only and is suitable for base-mountable bucket seats and reclining sport seats. Side-mounted shells require adaptor bars and are not covered by this kit. The price listed is for one sub-frame, which fits one seat. If you are upgrading the driver and passenger positions, you will need two. When ordering, tell us which Recaro model you are fitting and we will confirm the kit is complete.
