Recaro’s direct fit sub-frame for the Porsche 911, 336 per frame, which is per seat.
Recaro’s system
Side mounts first: a Recaro seat hangs on its own fixed or flexible side mounts, which bolt to this frame. The mounts are not included. Recaro homologate them with the seat as one system, so they come from Recaro and from their own page.
Which model
Recaro’s frame for the older 911. The 991 from 2011 has a different mounting and its own page, so tell us the year and model of the car and we will confirm this is the right frame before you order.
Why a car-specific frame
Vehicle-specific, so it fixes to the seat mounting points this car left the factory with, and sits a Recaro seat at the height Recaro intended.
Tell us the car and the Recaro seat you are fitting and we will list the side mounts that complete it.
Have you written anything useful for my car?
Yes: Top 5 reclining seat choices for your classic Porsche 911, including our fitting guide and Top 5 reclining seat choices for your Porsche 911 991, including our fitting guide. They are written around the same model, so check the generation matches your car.
Will this fit my car?
This frame is car-specific, so match the vehicle in the product name to your exact car and generation. If you are unsure, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.
Which seats does it take?
Check the bolt pattern in the specification against your seat. The Compatible seats tab above lists what bolts straight on. If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.
Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Recaro frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
