The Peugeot 309 was made from 1985 to 1993 and was positioned below the 405 in the range. It used a modified version of the 205 platform stretched for a longer wheelbase, and the 4-door saloon variant, which is what this sub-frame covers, has a different body structure and rear floor design to the hatchback, though the front fixing positions are consistent across the two body styles.
Part number 678309 covers the Peugeot 309 four-door. It attaches at the factory floor fixing positions on either the driver or passenger side without drilling, and provides fore-aft sliding travel through integrated runners. The 309 uses Peugeot-specific fixing geometry of the mid-1980s platform generation, separate from the contemporary 205 or 405.
The 309 is now a relatively uncommon car. Parts availability has tightened over the years, and owners who are still running one usually have genuine affection for the model. A well-mounted Recaro seat is a usable improvement in a car that is otherwise largely standard, and the direct-fit sub-frame keeps the installation reversible if needed.
This sub-frame is for Recaro seats only and fits base-mountable bucket seats and reclining sport seats. Side-mounted competition shells need different hardware. Price is for one frame, one seat position. Contact us with your Recaro model before ordering.
