The Opel Signum was produced from 2003 to 2005 as an executive hatchback on the Vectra C platform. In the UK it was sold as the Vauxhall Signum. It shared its platform with the Vectra C and Saab 9-3, but the Signum’s body was longer and the rear seat headroom was notably generous for passengers. The front row is where the driver sits, and the Signum’s executive positioning made the cabin one of the more comfortable Opel products of its era in standard form.
Part number 688219 is the Recaro direct-fit sub-frame for the Opel Signum. It attaches to the Vectra-C-platform floor fixing positions in the Signum’s front row and provides fore-aft sliding adjustment for the Recaro seat. The Signum uses the same basic floor geometry as the Vectra C for the driver’s side, though the body structure above differs.
Owners fitting a Recaro seat to the Signum tend to want better lateral support than the standard executive seat provides, particularly on longer journeys or in drivers who use the car aggressively. The Signum 2.8 V6T in particular had enough performance to make a well-located driving position worthwhile.
This sub-frame fits Recaro seats only and covers base-mountable bucket seats and reclining sport seats. Side-mounted competition shells are outside this kit. Price is for one frame, one seat. Contact us with your Recaro model when ordering.
