The Opel Meriva Mk1 was built from 2003 to 2010 on the Corsa C platform. It is a small MPV with a longer wheelbase than the Corsa to accommodate rear passengers, and it was known for having no B-pillar on the passenger side, with the front and rear doors opening from a central point in opposite directions. That gave rear access from the passenger side, which was unusual at the time.
Part number 867116-1912 is the Recaro direct-fit sub-frame for the Meriva Mk1. It attaches to the factory floor fixing positions in the front row without modification and carries integrated fore-aft runners. The Meriva’s floor uses Corsa-C-derived fixing positions, though the seat height geometry differs because the Meriva’s seat sits higher to give passengers a better view and a more upright position.
The Meriva is a compact car and the front seat position is close to the standard hatchback layout. Owners replacing the driver’s seat with a Recaro Sport or reclining model do so mainly for driver comfort on longer journeys, as the Meriva’s city-car heritage did not result in a standard seat with much lateral support.
This sub-frame is for Recaro seats only and covers base-mountable bucket seats and reclining sport seats. Side-mounted shells need different mounting hardware. Pricing is for one frame, one seat. Contact us with your Recaro model and we will confirm the full kit before you order.
