One Recaro direct fit sub-frame for the BMW F80 M3, 357; a passenger seat needs a second one.

The car

The F80 is the 2014 to 2018 M3 saloon. Recaro list this frame for the BMW body it was made for, and we know it fits the F80 because the seat mounting points are the same, so the M3 gets its own page. That is fitment work Recaro have not done, and it is why the frame is here.

Direct fit

A frame cut for this floor, so the seat bolts come straight from the factory and the seat ends up at the right height.

Seat, side mounts, frame

The seat does not bolt straight to the frame. Recaro side mounts go in between. Recaro homologate seat and side mounts together as one system, and the mounts are a separate part.

Ask us about the seat before ordering and we will make sure the side mounts and frame match it.

Additional seat belt brackets: Each seat frame can be used for a variety of applications including road car reclining seats throuh to Motorsport FIA seats. Seat belt brackets are not required in a range of application so manufacturers generally do not supply them with their frame kits. If you require seat belt brackets please contact us in advance

Which seats does it take?
Check the bolt pattern in the specification against your seat. The Compatible seats tab above lists what bolts straight on. If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Recaro frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Recaro seats are produced in batches for the UK market

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.

Before you order

If you need a seat for a date, ring us first. We would rather give you an honest lead time up front than have you waiting on a seat that is between production runs.

Due to the specialist nature of our services, we do ask that you please contact us in advance to book an appointment. We have multiple slots available each day including selected availability at the weekend.
