Two features in one part. It covers both narrow and wide seat side fixing spacings, so it suits a wider pool of shells than the standard version, and it raises the seat by six inches.
Who this is for
Someone building a mounting where the seat has to sit high and the shell spacing is either unknown or might change. That combination turns up in specials, kit cars and heavily modified vehicles more than in road cars with factory mounting points.
Six inches is a lot of height. Measure before you order: if you need two inches, this is the wrong part.
Slider
The seat moves fore and aft after installation. PCI’s slider bolts to the base with four bolts rather than the two a conventional slider uses, which they rate as twice as strong as two bolt mounting.
A slider costs height on top of what the bracket already adds. If you want the seat as low as this bracket allows, the 6 inch tall adjustable mount is the one to take.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from one piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, gloss black powder coat.
