The Del Sol is a small targa roofed car, and that shapes the seat decision more than the model name suggests. With the roof panel out and a helmet on, vertical space is what runs out first, so seat height is the number that matters.
PCI’s adjustable mount gives the lowest possible seat fitment in their range, which makes it the right choice here rather than simply the cheaper one.
The trade
No slider. The seat is set at installation and stays there. The hardware interlocks into the slots in the seat base, so the position can be changed later with one tool without taking the mount out of the car.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from one piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, five and six point sub belt mounting locations built in.
Ordering
Side mount, for a competition bucket, bolting to the factory seat mounting points so nothing is drilled and the original seats come out whole.
Handed, order twice for a pair.
On a car of this age, check the metal round the mounting points before you spend. And tell us your height, because in a Del Sol the shell matters as much as the mount.
