Complete fitting kit: side mounts included. This frame comes with its own side mounts, so any side mount bucket seat bolts straight to it. You only need the seat and the frame, with no separate side mounts to buy. The slider is built in as well, so no separate runner kit is needed.
Belt buckle clip included. This frame comes with a belt buckle clip, suitable for attaching a harness or the car’s factory seatbelt clip.
A PCI Racing sliding sub frame for the BMW E90 3-Series, 2004 to 2013. Part number SM-E92-S1-E90.
The E90 is the saloon of that generation and the E92 the coupe, and they share enough of their floor arrangement for one mount design to serve both. The part number reflects that.
The slider
The seat moves fore and aft after installation. In an E90, which is usually a road car and often a family one, that is nearly always the right choice: a fixed competition seat in a car somebody else drives is a genuine nuisance.
PCI’s S1 slider bolts to the base with four bolts where a conventional slider uses two, which they rate as twice as strong as two bolt mounting.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from a single piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, with the bends adding stiffness where thicker metal would otherwise be needed. Gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, five and six point sub belt mounting locations built in.
Ordering
Side mount, for a competition bucket, bolting to the factory seat mounting points so nothing is drilled and the original seats come out whole and can go back in.
