The X963 is a free-standing display stand for mounting a bucket seat in a showroom, workshop, or race paddock. It is not a seat mount for a car, not a side mount, and not a fitting frame. It holds a seat upright on a stable base so it can be inspected, tried for size, or shown to customers.

OMP sells this alongside its seat range for dealers and teams who display stock. At £75 it is the practical solution for anyone who has a seat out of a car and needs somewhere to put it properly, or for anyone fitting out a display area. A seat propped in a corner is difficult to sit in and prone to damage.

The X963 works with any seat that has standard base-mount or side-mount flanges. It is not vehicle-specific and requires no fitting tools.

If you are looking for the vehicle-specific frames that mount a seat into a car, those are the OMP subframes listed separately by make and model. Side mounts for adjusting seat height and position within the car are also listed separately. This is the display stand only.

Which seats does it take?
Check the bolt pattern in the specification against your seat. If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on OMP frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Availability

OMP deliveries arrive every two weeks

OMP produce in batches and we receive their products on a fortnightly basis, so their most popular seats, harnesses and equipment are generally available for quick dispatch.

Reclining sport seats and less common trims are brought in to order, so those take longer.
