The DA0205BHSL is OMP’s Endurance version of the One 3+2 six-point saloon harness. Both the Endurance and the Convertible (DA0205HSL) carry FIA 8853-2016 approval and use clip-in installation. The Endurance name reflects a focus on longer-distance use: the belt geometry and padding are built around sustained wear across a race stint rather than a sprint session.
Shoulder strap width is 2 inches throughout, which keeps this harness HANS-compatible. A 2-inch strap locates correctly on the yoke of a HANS device; a 3-inch strap does not. If HANS or FHR use is planned, the width here is correct.
Like the Convertible, this harness uses clip-in fixings at the shoulder, making it suitable for cars without a full roll cage. It works in a saloon with a mounting bracket or bar behind the seat. Aircraft buckle. Pull-down shoulder adjustment.
Available in black or red. FIA 8853-2016.
The choice between the DA0205HSL Convertible and the DA0205BHSL Endurance comes down to how the car is used. The Endurance is the better starting point for anyone building for longer events or endurance series. For shorter sprint and hillclimb work either harness works, and both are the same price. If installation flexibility matters, the One 2" Versa (DA0202VHSL, £290) gives clip-in, carabiner, and wrap-around options from the same harness.
