What sets the DA0202VHSL apart from the other harnesses in OMP’s One range is the installation options. Where the Convertible and Endurance models are clip-in only, the Versa gives three choices at point of fitting: clip-in, carabiner-style, or wrap-around. If the cage or bar configuration is not yet finalised when you order, or if the harness will move between more than one car, having that flexibility upfront is worth the extra £20 over the clip-in models.

FIA 8853-2016 approval. Six-point, aircraft buckle. Application is saloon. Shoulder strap width is 2 inches, which is the correct width for HANS and FHR device compatibility. A HANS yoke is designed around the 2-inch shoulder geometry; 3-inch straps do not locate the same way.

The DA0202VHSL is available in black or red. Pull-down shoulder adjustment. All three installation methods are supported from the same harness; the hardware for the method you choose is included.

At £290 this sits £20 above the DA0205HSL Convertible and DA0205BHSL Endurance harnesses. That extra cost buys the installation flexibility. If you already know the car configuration and clip-in is the right method, either of the lower-price models in the range will do the same job at the same FIA 8853-2016 standard for less.

How long does an FIA harness last?
Every FIA harness carries a not-valid-after date on its label, and that date is what the scrutineer checks. Our guide on how long FIA harnesses last explains the labelling, and buying new gets you the freshest date available.

Does it work with a HANS device?
Yes: only 6-point FIA harnesses work with a HANS device, and this belt qualifies. If you run a device, check whether you want the HANS-specific shoulder cut and ask us which suits your setup.

What does it mount to?
A harness needs proper anchor points: a harness bar, cage, or the car’s designed mounting points, plus a seat with the right slots. Tell us the car and seat and we will confirm the mounting plan before you order.

Availability

OMP deliveries arrive every two weeks

OMP produce in batches and we receive their products on a fortnightly basis, so their most popular seats, harnesses and equipment are generally available for quick dispatch.

Reclining sport seats and less common trims are brought in to order, so those take longer.
