OMP FIA approved side mounts made specifically for the HGT Evo seat. Part number OMPHC0-0954.
These are not an accessory to the seat, they are part of its approval. The FIA 8855-2021 homologation the HGT Evo carries applies when the seat is used on the correct side mountings. Bolt an approved shell to whatever brackets were already in the garage and the installation is no longer covered, and a scrutineer is within their rights to say so.
Why this seat needs its own
Seats built around the 2021 standard sit differently from the older generation, and the mounting geometry follows from that. The shell has to be held at the height and angle it was tested at. A generic bracket that raises it changes the relationship between you and the protection built into the shell, which is the thing you paid for.
What else you need
A vehicle specific sub-frame underneath the mounts. Tell us the car and we will match one.
Set the seat position before you fix your harness anchor points. Seat height decides where the shoulder straps are allowed to run, and a shoulder strap rising from your shoulder is worse than the standard belt.
If you are buying the seat and the mounts together, tell us the car at the same time and we will make sure the whole installation stands up rather than just the parts.
