The Endurance Motorsport Bucket Seat Titanium Bolt Pack (part m8-bolts-Titanium) supplies Grade 5 titanium M8 bolts for seat side mount to shell fixings. At £19.98 per pack these cost considerably more than the steel equivalent, and the reason is weight plus visual. Grade 5 titanium is around 43% lighter than steel per bolt; across four to six seat bolts the saving is measurable in grams rather than kilograms, but on a stripped race car where everything counts it adds up.
Two head types are available: standard hex head or T40 Torx. The T40 is useful where clearance around the bolt head is tight and a standard hex key cannot get in at the right angle. Choose at the point of ordering.
The anodised colour range is the widest in the Endurance fastener catalogue: black, blue, burnt blue, candy colour, gold, rainbow, and silver. Colour-coding bolts across a build is a practical way to identify torque and thread specifications at a glance, or to match the seat colour. The anodising does not affect tensile strength.
For the matching titanium nuts, the m8-Nut-Titanium pack covers blue and gold finishes. If you want a full titanium seat bolt-and-nut set in one of those two colours, order both together.
