The Corbeau Sportline RRS on the low base, supplied with sliders, for the Land Rover Defender, 640. A reclining sport seat in black, base mount, no head support, cloth, leather or vinyl, with black or white stitching. One seat, driver’s or passenger’s side chosen at order.
A Defender seat that is ready to go in
The standard Defender seat is the thing most owners want rid of first. This is the RRS low base with the sliders included, so it arrives as a seat that bolts up rather than a shell that needs a fitting kit assembling around it. The bare RRS low base is 415 and the Defender frame is a separate 245, which tells you roughly where the 640 comes from. Four have gone from this page.
Why the low base
A Defender has a high floor and not much headroom for a tall driver, and the low base puts you down where you have room for a helmet or a hat. The RRS reclines and tilts, so it stays a seat you can live with on a long trip.
Trim
Cloth, leather or vinyl, with black or white stitching. In a Defender that gets wet, vinyl is the sensible answer. Heating can be added and needs a loom and a switch.
Fitting
Base mount, sliders included. Tell us the Defender model and year and which side, and we will confirm the fitting.
