What is actually different here

Nothing about the seat. The Premium Edition is a contrasting colour band across the vinyl, in blue, grey, red, yellow or orange, and the Defender part of the name is the brackets it ships with.

Underneath it is the same Monaco every other listing in the range sells: fully steel plated with a solid back and base for intrusion protection, FIA 8855-1999 homologated, integral head pad and shoulder support, 11.4kg.

Knowing that is worth more than a page of specification, because it means the choice in front of you is about colour and fitting rather than about whether one seat is better than another.

Vinyl in a Defender

The right covering for a vehicle that gets used in weather and workwear. It wipes clean, does not hold damp and does not absorb what gets spilled on it. Warmer in summer than a fabric trim, which is the one cost.

Before you order

Fixed back, so no recline. In a Defender used for long drives that is the thing to weigh hardest, and the reclining seats in the Cobra range are the alternative if adjustment matters more than the last of the lateral hold.

Base mounted or side mounted, your choice. Slots for a 4 or 6 point harness. Drivers under 6ft with a 32 to 36 inch waist.

Hand trimmed in the UK. Tell us the year of the vehicle and we will confirm the brackets before anything ships.

What do I need to fit it to my car?

Each seat is built to the specification you choose, which is why the wait is what it is: on average around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the trim and options.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Made to your specification

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.
