The Volkswagen Scirocco Mk1 (1974 to 1981) is a sports coupe built on the Golf Mk1 platform and styled by Giugiaro. It has the same narrow cabin as the Mk1 Golf but the lower roofline and longer body give it a different character. The GLi and GTI variants are the usual motorsport cars, and values on clean Mk1 Sciroccos have been increasing for several years now. It is a genuine classic and the interior dimensions reflect the era.
These sub-frames are matched to the Scirocco Mk1’s floor fixing points. They are steel, they replace the OEM runners, and they accept a Corbeau base-mounted or reclining sport seat. Like the Golf Mk1, the Scirocco’s floor rail arrangement is relatively simple, though on a car of this age the bolt holes sometimes need cleaning up and the floor is worth inspecting for corrosion before fitting.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
