The Seat Ibiza Mk3, sold under the internal code 6L from 2002 to 2008, was built on the Volkswagen PQ24 platform shared with the Polo Mk4 and Cordoba. The 1.8 20v Turbo Cupra and the 1.9 TDI versions attracted a performance following, and the 6L is more commonly seen in club motorsport than the earlier cars because the running gear is more accessible. The PQ24 floor geometry is specific to that platform: generic sub-frames built for a different generation will not land at the right height.
This Corbeau sub-frame uses the 6L Ibiza’s own floor fixing positions, which places the seat correctly without requiring any modification to the floor. The PQ24 platform positions the seat floor mounts at different fore-aft spacing compared to the older 6K body, which is the reason this listing exists separately from the Mk2 sub-frame. Depending on the kit configuration for this floor, the product may be a complete replacement frame with sliding runner or an adaptation bracket set.
