The Porsche 944 ran from 1982 to 1991 and used a front-mounted engine with the transaxle at the rear, which gave it near-50/50 weight distribution and handling that many drivers rate above the 911 of the same era. The 944 Turbo and the 944 S2 are the most capable versions, and the entire 944 family is a staple of track day events and club motorsport because the suspension geometry responds well to modification and good examples remain relatively affordable. The front-engine/rear-transaxle layout means the floor and tunnel geometry is specific to the 944 rather than shared with any of the 911 variants.
This Corbeau sub-frame is designed for the 944’s floor fixing positions. The transmission tunnel on a 944 sits differently from a 911 because the gearbox is at the rear rather than behind the engine, and the floor bolt positions reflect that. The kit uses the original floor fixings and may be a complete replacement frame with sliding runner or adaptation brackets depending on the configuration Corbeau have developed for this floor.
For base-mounted and reclining sport seats only. Side-mounted FIA race seats need different hardware. Priced at £245 exc. VAT per seat position. Order twice for both sides. Note the Corbeau seat model in the checkout comments and we will confirm before dispatch.
