The Fiesta Mk6 (October 2008-2016) was available in 3-door and 5-door versions and introduced the ST150 with a 150bhp 2.0 Duratec from the start of the range. The ST180 followed in 2013 using Ford’s 1.6 EcoBoost engine with 182bhp and became a popular track-day and club-racing car. The standard 1.4 and 1.6 Ti-VCT hatchbacks also attracted modification work, and the Mk6 has a strong presence in production-class championship racing. This sub-frame covers the Mk6 Fiesta from its October 2008 launch to the end of production in 2016. The earlier Mk5 Fiesta uses a different mounting layout and needs a separate kit.

The kit uses the Mk6 Fiesta’s standard floor bolt positions without drilling. ±10mm tolerance standard. Base-mounted bucket seats and reclining Corbeau sport seats only; not for side-mounted FIA race seats.

One sub-frame at £245. Order twice for driver and passenger if fitting both sides. Confirm your Corbeau seat model at checkout so we can check the fitment before dispatch.

What will be in the box? There are several types of seat frames which may be supplied depending on the vehicle and application. You may receive 1 of the following 4 types. If you are using them with a certain seat, please contact us in advance for professional advice.

#1. A full replacement frame with a sliding runner and resisitor kit
#2. A full replacement frame with a sliding runner
#3. A full replacement frame only
#4. An adaption bracket kit

Additional seat belt brackets: Each seat frame can be used for a variety of applications including road car reclining seats throuh to Motorsport FIA seats. Seat belt brackets are not required in a range of application so manufacturers generally do not supply them with their frame kits. If you require seat belt brackets please contact us in advance

Bolt point tolerances:

Please note that OMP, Sparco and various other brands have a +/- 10mm tolerance on the bolt point locations on each of their sub-frames. This means that when installing the equipment into your vehicle, you may find that one or more of the bolt points may need extending for a perfect fit.

This is normal and, when installed by a skilled professional, it may only add five minutes to the total installation time. A prime example is the OMP Renault Clio MK3 frames and the BMW E46 frames as two bolt points need extending by 5mm in 75% of installations.

Drilling of frames and equipment may be required to complete your installation.

Matching seats and frames:

There are over half a dozen different bolt patterns in the industry for base mounted seats. There are over 30 different bolt patterns for side mounted seats. Aftermarket frames from different brands will have different bolt location points. 

Seats and frames are not a direct fit between brands. Seat frames are also not suitabled for OEM seats (Fitted into a vehicle from the factory) Please ensure to contact us for professional advice before purchasing your seat frames. We will be able to provide you a recommendation as to which seat frame is right for which seat.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Corbeau frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

FIA bucket seats are built to order, typically 3 to 7 days from the day you order. Kevlar and carbon shells take longer, so ask us if you are working to a date.

Reclining sport seats are also made to order in your chosen trim, and run to a similar timescale.

Seats built to a specification you have chosen are made for your order, so our special order terms apply once production has started.
