The Corsa A ran from 1982 to 1993 and was sold in the UK as the Vauxhall Nova. The GTE with the 1.3 and later 1.6 litre engines was the performance version and attracted a loyal following in period motorsport, and the Nova GTE in particular remains a well-known name in UK historic club racing today. By modern standards these are compact cars with narrow cockpits, which makes choosing a correctly sized seat and a properly mounted sub-frame important from both a fit and a safety perspective. The kit replaces or adapts the standard frame and takes any Corbeau base-mounted or reclining sport seat. Side-mounted FIA seats will not fit this kit. The ±10mm bolt tolerance applies, and minor adjustment is occasionally needed on some cars.
